A Masters of Social Work candidate at North Carolina Central University graduating May 2026, Aleta brings both lived experience and clinical knowledge to her work. As an In Our Own Voice speaker with NAMI Durham, she has spoken at federal hospitals and Crisis Intervention Training programs across the region, sharing her personal mental health journey to humanize crisis response and reduce stigma in Black communities.

Her work sits at the intersection of coaching, advocacy and community meeting people where they are and helping them discover the power already within them.
